Why This Evening Matters

Every day, someone in our community reaches a moment when they realize they cannot carry everything alone.

For forty years, Lifetalk Counselling Services has walked alongside individuals and families in Brooks and the County of Newell, offering compassionate, faith-informed counselling during life’s most difficult seasons.

The Evening of Hope is a time to gather as a community, hear stories of transformation, and ensure counselling remains accessible for those who need it most.

What the Evening Includes

• Stories of hope and healing

Serving Our Community with Compassion

For decades, Lifetalk has provided professional counselling to individuals, couples, and families facing challenges such as:

• anxiety and depression
• relationship conflict
• grief and loss
• trauma and life transitions

Because of community support, many of our clients receive counselling on a sliding-scale fee, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent someone from receiving help.

Your Support Creates Real Change

The goal of the Evening of Hope is to raise $35,000 to help fund counselling sessions for individuals and families who could not otherwise afford support.

Each sponsored session represents a moment when someone chooses hope instead of despair.

Together, we can ensure that help is available when it is needed most.

Stories of Hope

During the evening you will hear anonymized stories that reflect the journeys of people who have found healing through counselling.

Names and identifying details are changed to protect privacy, but the transformation is real.

These stories remind us that hope is not abstract — it is experienced one life at a time.
