NCC Chaplaincy
The NCC Chaplaincy program serves Seniors in Residence at Newbrook Lodge, Orchard Manor, Sunrise Gardens and Brooks Long Term Care under a Joint Ministries Agreement between Lifetalk Counselling Services and the Newell Christian Community (EID Ministerial).
It is funded by small grants from Grasslands FCSS and United Way. The majority of our funding is through donations from churches, corporations and individuals. Donations to the Chaplaincy program can be made to Lifetalk Counselling Services - add a note to designate the donation for the Chaplaincy. Send to the address below.
Chaplains
Joyce Roth serves as Chaplain for Seniors in Residence at Newbrook Lodge, Orchard Manor, and Sunrise Gardens. Joyce enjoys connecting with and encouraging people around her!
Joyce Roth was born and raised here in the Brooks area. Faith and family have always been an important part of her life. Shortly after high school, she was married. She has 4 daughters and enjoys 7 grandchildren! Joyce has been involved in various aspects of Pastoral Ministry for over 35 years including leading Bible studies, teaching, preaching and leading singing. She is an ordained minister. It is a great joy for her to be able to connect with and encourage the people around her. She also enjoys her plants, riding motorcycle with her husband and watching sports!
Garth Everett serves as Chaplain for Seniors in in Residence at Newbrook Lodge, Orchard Manor, Sunrise Gardens and Brooks Long Term Care. Garth is a compassionate and outgoing person, and is making a difference for our Seniors!
Garth Everett has been in ministry for 25 years and recently retired from children’s ministry. Throughout his years of service, he also devoted significant time to senior visitation. He is excited about how God has led him into this new chaplaincy ministry role. He is eager to see all that God will accomplish through this ministry and is grateful for the prayers and support.
